Its not just because of the fact this meal looks like a piece of art installation, its because I’m imagining the tastes of black squid ink brioche with salmon patty and crunchy greens, home made wasabi mayo, black + pink + green?

I can almost taste it from the picture. Definitely something I have to make, or at least try to buy somewhere. If you want to attempt to make it yourself, these are the two recipes I gather, I liked the most.

To make the black squid brioche buns, head over to the Food Monger blog. The buns are easy to make with a soft almost cake like texture, and the squid ink doesn’t impart much flavour apart from a little saltiness.
