Didn’t I tell you the 2018. is going to be the year of ending the illusions? No more bullshit! You better believe it.

If you’re one of those people who doesn’t stand by your actions, who pretends more than is, who would rather be liked than say what you truly think – sorry to break it to you: you might not be having a good time this year. And if you’re one of those sick and tired of bullshit, fakeness, forced niceness – fucking congrats; after a long, overdue struggle, you arrived! You can finally be fed up, say exactly what’s on your mind – raw, uncensored, unprocessed.

Last week we had Rose McGowan on Nightline saying things in camera: honest, truthful direct. No bull. Real opinion on everything and everyone she was asked about. It was shocking to watch. How sad is that? That the truth is shocking? Hey listen, I didn’t invent this truth manifesto. You are all too familiar with Orwell’s – “Truth Is The New Hate Speech”. I’m just way to excited to FINALLY see it at play. In the outs. Out there in front of everyone to see, hear.

Rose started it. But Kim Cattrall cemented it few days ago! You must have heard that. My god, it was scary good. Her own Instagram, simple post –

“I don’t need your love and support at this tragic time @sarahjessicaparker.”

Followed by –

“My Mom asked me today “When will that @sarahjessicaparker, that hypocrite, leave you alone?” Your continuous reaching out is a painful reminder of how cruel you really were then and now. Let me make this VERY clear. (If I haven’t already) You are not my family. You are not my friend. So I’m writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your ‘nice girl’ persona.”

If you’re not following this drama (check here), Kim Cattrall’s brother went missing, then was found dead, Sarah Jessica Parker was sending messages of condolences, then Kim went gangsta on her.

Basic brains taking what’s served to them will conclude now how Kim acted classless, petty, ill-mannered. And how SJP was just nice to offer the condolences. See that’s it with the world. Fakeness packed up nicely will always get more supporters than raw, direct emotion. Don’t confuse this with me supporting insults and trashing people. Far from it. But also, the reality runs deeper and you need to inform yourself better, before you form opinions. Not everything sounding nice is actually nice. And roughness usually comes from hurt.

To understand this epic Sex & The City feud, one must go waaaay back to SATC days to understand the backbone of this. I lived in New York while SATC was taping, ran in circles where the show was taped, weekly, knew people in costume department. A designer from my class in college had her bag design displayed in the show. Rumors of SJP going rampant, the supposed heroine of the show in shadows of effortlessly talented Kim – the only actual, bonafide moviestar at the signing of SATC – were echoing in NY press on weekly basis.

Every Monday in school we gossiped about the latest shit from SATC set. (good times!)

Samantha Jones became the most popular SATC character by every pool conducted. Kim had a comedic timing so brilliant, the camera just naturally went to her. Kim was effortless. Sarah was pissed. The circles started to form. Kim was shut down when the cameras shut off. Six years of tensions, 6 years of SJP jealousy & meangirling.

The movie? We all know Kim didn’t want to do movies. She reclutantly signed. First movie was bearable. Second was ATROCIOUS. Sarah Jessica Parker, the executive producer (meaning making shitloads of money, regardless of dumb plots), decided (and/or approved) to place the plot of a TV-Show that is a serenade to New York City in – Middle East?? And you wonder why your actors do not want to be associated with the movies?

You still don’t see what Kim’s problem is with SJP offering a condolences for her deceased brother? You don’t see where this suppose “niceness” is everything but? Even morbid?

Let me spell it for you.

Last few months the stories are circulating about the third SATC movie. It was made public (wonder how?) that Kim was the one that killed the reunion deal (the woman’s been saying since movie one, SHE DOES NOT WAN’T TO DO SATC MOVIES). Subtext: Kim is difficult to work with. Where did that leak came from? And if not from Sarah Jessica Parker then why at least she didn’t come to her rescue and defended her? SJP, the executive producer that was suppose to defend and take care of her actors, didn’t say anything publicly, and let Kim get a reputation of being difficult, especially a woman in her 60’s, in an supremely ageist industry? That’s a kind of rep that stays with an actor forever, and can very well ruin their career.

And I think that the woman in her 61 year of age has a complete and utter right to chose the role of sex crazed character at that age is no longer making sense. Doing what makes sense for you is self-care, not being a diva.

But then again Kim Cattrall’s career only shot up after SATC (International Emmy Nomination for Sensitive Skin), whereas Sarah Jessica Parker did nothing of grand significance, after SATC.

You still think Kim was harsh? Imagine someone lets you get villanised for asking what you deserve and lets you publicly take shit for shutting down a movie, AND THEN contacts you, trying to be kind in public when you’re going through a family tragedy? Wouldn’t you lash out? Wouldn’t you finally be sick and fucking tired?

Why is it always the ones that are truthful, the ones who react to shit, and call shit out perceived as crazy, unattractive, lashing out? Why do people around you behave like you JUST lashed out for NO REASON at all? That would be lashing out. But when there’s a reason behind it, when there’s people who are mean, rude, unfair, cruel to you – all wrapped up in a nice little presentation that SOUNDS nice, and you CALLED them out – why is that unattractive? Should you be taken advantage of and fucking suffer in silence?

I read the most epic sentence the other day, in ELLE Magazine, on this subject –

“I’ve been going to the Kim Cattrall School of Telling the Truth and Leaving the Drama for Your Mama.”

Enroll me.

And for SJP saying this about the third SATC Movie –

“It’s not just disappointing that we don’t get to tell the story and have that experience, but more so for that audience that has been so vocal in wanting another movie.”

All do respect, Sarah, but but what are you talking about?

There is no one on this planet demanding another Sex and the City movie. Give it a rest.

As for my truth manifesto? Should you always just say what’s on your mind? Absolutely not. You should only say YOUR truth. Not anyone else’s.

Time’s Up.
